Here is the current entry for the mint in San José, Costa Rica:

Casa Nacional de Moneda de Costa Rica, San José, Costa Rica (1828-1947)

Here is what Schön 20th Century 46ed edition says:

1828-2010
Ingenio San José de los Horcones, Alajuela Casa de Moneda de Costa Rica S.A., San José

Spanish Wikipedia says the old mint closed in 1949 and a new mint opened in 2010 (which matches with Schön saying the 2007 coins were minted in CR in 2010).

Based on the Wikipedia article and Schön I propose a new mint:

Mint of Costa Rica, San José, Costa Rica (2010-)
Hello,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. However, I cannot find any other sources that this mint exists. I think that we should hold off on adding the mint until someone provides a primary source.

I have found a video made with a potato and an amateurish promo video as well as a foursquare page where the address leads to Cnergy Solutions C.R. S.A. as well as a tiny news statement.

At least there was a warehouse with about 2 older Schuler minting machines somewhere for sometime.
It looks like it will be tough to get details as the majority owner went bankrupt. It seems that Schön is correct when it gives an end date of 2010 -- the 2012 coins are identified as being produced at other mints, and I think all later coins were made after the liquidation of the owning corporation.

A partial archive of the amera.ch web site lists Costa Rica as a site, but the CR page isn't archived.
