Hello all,

There are a number of issues with the wartime issues in the Netherlands section of the catalog, with several dates that are misattributed. I am basing these observations on "Foreign and Domestic Coins Manufactured by Mints of the United States 1793-1980". (I will provide a screenshot below of the relevant section.)

The corrections are as follows:

10 Cents KM# 163:

There were no silver coins issued in the Netherlands in 1943. The 1943 P coins were only issued for Curaçao and Suriname. This is a difficult year, as the Curaçao and Suriname issues are identical, so there is nowhere for the owners of this coin to go if the date is to be deleted.

25 Cents KM# 164:

The same issue is true for the 25 Cents, 1943 P issue. There is no place to put the owners, as the as the Curaçao and Suriname issues are identical.

1 Gulden KM# 161:

This issue is much simpler. According to the mint publication, only the Philadelphia Mint produced 1 Gulden coins in 1944 and 1945. The owners of the 1943 D should be moved to Netherlands East Indies KM#330. The 1944 S year-line should be deleted unless the owners can provide evidence.

Thank you all for your time,
Theodore

Maybe this is some help:

Another solution would be to add those considerations as comments in current entries, because as you said we dont know where to put collections. Something to discuss with the referree :-)
