Hi

I am looking for info on these items which I believe are Indian temple tokens

they weigh about 10g, have a diameter of 27-29 mm, and seem to be made out of brass

Thanks

JM

Yes, they are Indian temple tokens, commonly found in many variants (size, weight, lettering, faces).

The first side of all 3 tokens depict scenes from Lord Ram's court ("darbar" in Devanagari) which is why they are commonly referred to as Ramatanka or Ram Darbar coins.

These are the closest examples I found in the Numista catalogue (there may again be variations in lettering and quality of rendering):

Yours first token is this one :

N#80942

This is the second one:

N#169605

The third token has a different deity on the second face - Lord Jagannath.

N#74564

Thanks a lot for your time and kind answer

I did not realize there was a religions section in Numista.
