Some missing reference numbers for Japan

3 posts
I was working on my Excel sheet for my Japanese coin collection and included all the coins im not likely to ever get or be interested in just for completion's sake and to see what we are still missing in the Numista database.
But I have two holes in the references between Y#6 & Y#9 and Y#A25 & Y#29.

Does anyone own "A catalog of modern world coins by R. S. Yeoman" or knows why they were left out or deleted? I'm not sure that we missed any of the older coins but this inconsistency is bugging me so I would at least like to know why. x.
I have "A catalog of modern world coins by R. S. Yeoman", 10th edition, 1972.
In that edition there is no reference number between Y# 6 & Y# 9. BUT there are a few numbers between Y# A25 & Y# 29: 3 countermarked coins:
Y# 28 "Gin" stamp (1897) on Y# 5. Value (back then in 1972): 60.00 $
Y# 28a "Gin" on Y# A25. Value (back then in 1972): 8.00 $
Y# 28b "Gin" on Y# 14. Value (back then in 1972): 200.00 $

Maybe there are more missing reference numbers in earlier editions.
I could only think of the counterstamped Yen coins that were marked for outside trade but didn't thought that they would warrant there own numbers. Thank you very much! :)
