Hello,
this is a thread to report duplicates in the catalogue.
Please provide links to both (all) coins, and optionally provide info on which one should be deleted and why.
Team will handle your requests as soon as time will permit us.
Thank You,
The Numista Team

Your 3rd link is about the copper-nickel coinage, unlike others as silver coinage. Before deleting anything I'll ask (after updating) the croppers to crop the duplicate pic before requesting.

Can you contact the new referee of USA (Steve27)? There are some slight differences I would ask him to manage before any change.

Modified the original one, but before deletion, need to see with croppers if able to restore a silver aspect to this pics taken with a bad light.

Hi,
2 duplicates of Notgeld
Hamburg 5/100 Mark 1923:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces89259.html
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces65340.html
I can't tell which one should be deleted, because I don't understand Numista "policy" for Notgeld
:
1) What "standard"/structure for titles (face value, region...)
2) What "Country"?
Germany - 1871-1948 or
*Tokens* ?
Maybe field "Currency" for this coin should be
Mark (notgeld, 1917-1923)
Regards, Victor

Here is a duplicate:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces83544.html
These are correct:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces43257.html
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces8572.html
Greetings from Argentina
Gustavo
I would already have moved his coin and deleted the file if he would have mentioned if the coin is nickel- or silver-made. Can you see the owner's name? If not you may find him in the modification history listing, and so contact him to determine which metal is this coin made of. A simple magnet would be enough as nickel a magnetic metal.
The user who is added:
https://en.numista.com/echanges/profil.php?id=68281
Did not find the currency since the year is defined as "ND".
This is the emission of the coins:
It is reflected in the links provided.
As an aside. I am referring of the country.
Regards, Gustavo

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces53975.html is a duplicate of this earlier and more complete listing

I would keep reverse picture from the first link as this is more common version and put reverse image of the second link under the comments (it has Fleur-de-lis privy mark on it).

I'm not quite sure how this happened but one of my new coin listings appears to have given birth to a bastard off-spring here
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces90844.html. This is not a genuine listing and in any case is essentially a duplicate of
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces90841.html so I would be very grateful if someone could remove this erroneous listing and help clean up the new Kings of East Anglia section

Quote: "Megas"Why these are different coins?
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3163.html
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces42553.html
They have completely same parameters, the only difference is years. Why not to merge it info single coin?
The same is here:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces3614.html
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces42552.html
They have different writings under value.

Is same as:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces53514.html - KM# 494.1
and
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces53516.html - KM# 494.2
In my opinion original record (#12971) should be edited to present KM# 494.3 only. In that case each sub-type of KM# 494 will have separate record.
Agreed, thank you for your help. As suggested, record #12971 has been modified to specify the third sub-type but I will need to request catalogue admin support to move across the other members collections.

Quote: "Megas"A similar case is here:
Main coin: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces13054.html - KM# 485
Sub-types:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces53609.html - KM# 485.1
no record for KM# 485.2
no record for KM# 485.3
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces53612.html - KM# 485.4
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces53611.html - KM# 485.5
no record for KM# 485.6
no record for KM# 485.7
Boy, you have set quite a challenge with the William III Shillings, there are tons of varieties!
I have created Bristol mint (485.2) and Chester mint (485.3) and once the York mints are done then I will again need admin support to migrate the members' collections across

Hi, I am now solving (slowly) all your requests. Would it be possible to delete some of those that have been done already, so the thread would be less messy?
27,28,29 are done now.
31 - 34 are done too.
