Hello fellow collectors,
I'm sure many of you have spent hours cataloging your coins using Numista, the best on-line catalogue tool.

I am very proud of my entire collection, and instead of sending/posting images of coins to friends and family, one at a time, I would love to be able to show them my collection on-line, on a Shared site.

If this functionality already exists...GREAT! Please tell me how to do it.
If this functionality does not exist, it would be an incredible feature that MANY of us would use.

If you are not familiar with the concept, it would be very similar to what Shutterfly does with Photo Book Projects, but instead with coins! Ideally, users would be able to upload images of their own coin. I would create a collection that I want to Share. Maybe it's not my entire collection. Perhaps it's just my Japanese coins I want to Share. So I start a "Collection" by giving it a name..."Japanese Coins". Then I select the coins from my MASTER account to be included in the "Japanese Coins" "Collection". I would be able to arrange them in any order I would like... 1/4/8/12 to a page, whatever I choose, and I could choose a different count per page, and in any order. It's just an idea, but you could click on the coin to get the Detail Information about my coin, or perhaps some of the the Detail Information would already be displayed next to each coin. For this "Collection", I wouldn't want Country displayed next to each coin, because they are ALL from Japan in this "Collection". But I would want Year and Denomination. When I'm done, I can post my "Japanese Collection" to my Share site that I created within my account. Then I would add my friend to my Authorized Viewers list. My friend would log into his own Numista account and he is able to go to the Shared sites to which he is an Authorized Viewer. He finds my "Japanese Coins" "Collection" and is able to see them as if he was flipping through an album. What an AMAZING feature !!

Oh, and if I wanted to edit the "Collection", no problem. I would just Open it and make Changes then Save it again on my Shared site. Only the most recent version would be saved for viewing. I could have any number of "Collections" on my Shared site, and they would all be different sub-sets of my MASTER collection of all of my coins.

If you build it, I will QA it.

Thanks for reading...
A member of Numista (dptashny) created a good site, and I plus a few other Numista members have joined. Here are my four different sections on there >

Coins - http://mycoinssite.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=13560800
Medallions - http://mycoinssite.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=13750057

Jetons - http://mycoinssite.webs.com/apps/photos/album?albumid=15995337
It is free to join, and I like the way the pages show the coins. I recommend it. :)

Example, part of the front page from my Tokens on there - then any image is also clickable and shows wording I added below each image. It can also be viewed on there as a slideshow.
