Earlier I submitted
these two Israeli state medals to Exonumia under under 'Medals - Israel'. There were shortly validated by Cyrillius who also moved them to 'Bullion - Israel' (I do believe that they should have stayed in 'Medals'). I have just noticed that they have completely disappeared and looks like someone has deleted them. Does anyone know what happened to them?
Thanks

They probably were deleted because medals aren't supposed to be listed in the catalogue

Hello.
You are right, your medals / bullions have disappeared somewhere.
They are not in the "Latest coins" section. In addition, there is no section of bullions for them! I remember them perfectly, but definitely I did not delete them. And I do not really see the reasons why your medals should be deleted.

I thought commemorative medals are allowed in the catalogue which is why they have a section in Exonumia and even in the MPCC.

Quite exactly they are allowed. And the rest of your medals are among the Latest coins. It is very strange.

I did some more investigating and noticed that some Perth Mint bullion bars that I added earlier in the month have also disappeared. It looks like someone has been going and deleting anything new that has been added to the Bullion section in Exonumia.

the section in MPCC was Exonumia, not medals

You are right that the section in MPCC was called "Exonumia/Ancients". However there were many commemorative medals in there.
But I am not trying to argue in this thread if there were medals in the MPCC or not but I simply want to know what happened to the medals I recently added to the catalogue.

If they cannot be found I will be happy to make the two creation requests. But it is a bit annoying that some of the things I have created and added to the sight and that were validated have been deleted.

And they are back from grave. I deleted them, mistaking them for simple bars. Distinction between medals in bar shape (which are allowed) and bullion bars (which are not currently allowed) is rather blurry. Nevermind though, I can reverse deletions. Maybe we should include normal bars in some new section of exonumia.

Well, if you want, let's move them to just medals?
Although for me the inscription "1 OZ FINE GOLD 999.9" says that it is an ingot / bullion. Commemorative.

That is exactly the problem.
