My collection of these coins is just of copper-nickel, but have been asked a question as to the existence of sets of these coins that are a golden colour.
Can anyone from the USA give any details on them. The set is boxed, but no certificate.
Sorry I do not own the set, so have no photographs.

You mean this one?
It is sold on an auction 45 minutes ago, but it was part of a lot with other coins/sets, so I can't give you any price for this set.

Essor Prof,
The set contains every coin of the 50 state quarters and is in a blue velvet box.
It seems to contain 2 trays, each holding 20 coins, plus a top tray with 10 coins, plus a square space for the certificate, which is missing.
Looked on eBay, but could not find anything like it.

The set may be pretty and packaged nice, but it is not official mint issue. In the US, for valuation purposes, this would be considered after mint damage.

Oklahoman,
Do you know a rough valuation of this set? Just so I can inform my friend.

This is what they are selling for on the Home Shopping Network which is known for trying to sell things that have little to no value for a high price ..
https://www.hsn.com/products/1999-2009-complete-set-of-24k-gold-plated-state-qrtrs/6316519
The coins only have a very thin (nano) layer of gold. Supposedly the amount of gold, if removed from the coins would valued at little more than the coins would be at face value ...
The full set contains 102 coins (D & P Mints). Therefore worth $25.5o ... Add the value of the gold, maybe increases to about $50.oo for the set ...
