Does this mean there will soon be a place on Numista where we can catalog our banknotes like we do our coins?

So far, we had our Banknotes forum. It think banknotes types will be addded and discussed here and selling, of course, to the ol'Swaps and Trades.

For the time being, it does not. We have enough troubles with coins.
Forum also tests how many people show interest.

I'm interested in a Numista like banknote forum, but for the same reason I'm opposed to the inclusion of sets, I'd be opposed to banknotes being forced into the format of coins (weight/thickness of banknotes?!)
I would be interested in seeing a sister site (Notista?) with a whole separate Banknote catalogue that looks the same as Numista, but with it's own format for Banknotes, if anyone in the future would have the effort to do it.

Neah it should be integrated here, so that we can swap notes for coins and the other way around.

I think it should be separate-ish. They are different sites using the same login info, and you click a little button at the top of either website to go to the other.

I would imagine before there is banknotes on this site, there would be a different template. But with a name like Numista, it eventually has to include banknotes.

lol, yeah that wouldn't make any sense, BUT instead of diameter/weight/thickness, there should be length/width..

Notista should be created as an independent website.
Xavier should release the Numista source code so that it can be modified for banknotes, community currency notes, & postal orders.
