Wanted & swap list (euro coins & world coins, exonumia and banknotes circulated) https://goo.gl/AQjfKp - I have euro & world CC coins for swap.
The copper and copper-nickel ones are only uncirculated; they don't replace the plated steel coins. The circulating coins up to 2017 are still plated steel.
Ok.

That doesn't matter. Coins made of a different material have a different weight (mostly) and a different KM# number. Therefore they should be split. Now they are all under 117a (or 118a or 119a) and that's not correct. Or are we going to put the silver 117c (or 118c or 119c) also under the a? If the coins circulate or not has no importance.
And think about consistency. What you do for one coin you have to do for all comparable coins. If you don't split these New Zealand types we have to merge all the a, b, c, ... types throughout our whole catalogue.

I am agree with this: different material has different KM# and must by split.

But I beleve zakaye say that 117a (or 118a or 119a) are still issued (Krause catalogue say only from 2006 to 2010, but can be an error T.T).

Summarized, there are two 10 cents coins:

New Zealand - 10 Cents - Elizabeth II 4th portrait - 2006-2017 - KM# 117a - Copper plated Steel – 3.30 g – ø 20.5 mm -- This exists now here.
New Zealand - 10 Cents - Elizabeth II 4th portrait - 2010-2012 - KM# 117b - Copper – 3.73 g – ø 20.5 mm -- I created a request for create this.

Similar with 20 and 50 Cents.

The old 10,20,& 50 Cents coins (1967-2005) were pulled from circulation in late 2006,along with the 5 Cents.

Only new type 10,20,& 50 Cents are in circulation - along with the $1 & $2 coins from 1990 onwards (but some dates never came out in circulation.

The latest dated coins I have seen in circulation are the 20 & 50 Cents dated 2015,along with the 2015 $1.

There are no coins dated 2016 or 2017 in circulation yet.

Aidan.
