Hello,
Is it possible to put the beginning date of the "Hammered/Cast Coinage (?-1882)" section of Morroco to 1666 and rename it as "Alawite hammered/Cast Coinage" ?

Then create another section "Dila'i interlude ("1659-1663") for the coins minted during the interregnum
between the Saadian and the Alawi Sharifs dynasty.

Approved.

Please change:
Hammered/Cast Coinage (?-1882)
to
Alaouite dynasty - Hammered/Cast Coinage (1666-1882)

Alaouite is more common name than Alawite

I've created the following myself:
Dila'i interlude - Hammered Coinage (1659-1663)
could you please order it correctly?

Thank you both.

Any idea where this belongs?
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces157651.html

"in 1659, the Shabana (Chebana, Shibanna, Shbanat), an Arab Bedouin tribe of Hillalian descent, once part of the Saadian army, seized control of Marrakesh and put the last Saadian sultan, Abdul al-Abbas, to death. Their qaid, Abd al-Karim ibn Abu Bakr al-Shbani declared himself the new sultan of Marrakesh"

"Muley al-Rashid proceeded south to capture Marrakesh in 1669, massacring the Shabana Arabs in the process"

so he came after saadi, but ruled before alawite took over marrakesh in 1669

I think the solution would be to re-name
Dila'i interlude - Hammered Coinage (1659-1663)
to
Interregnum - Hammered Coinage (1659-1669)

as apparently the Dila'i ruler was defeated by the alawaites in 1668, and the Shabana ruler (abd al karim) in 1669; despite "In 1666 Mulay Al-Rashid was proclaimed Sultan of Morocco" as he didnt have full control over the country in 1666 yet completely

Othe solution would be to have a currency for Shabana rule of 1 coin.

Opinions?

Nah, you can just mention it in the name and in the comments, there are many such rebel coins.
