I am wondering why French Cochinchina
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/cochinchine-1.html
is listed under Vietnam, and not under France as the other French colonies in the South-East Asia, for example
French Indocine
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/indochine-1.html
kind regards

Hello,
French Cochinchina comprised only of the southern third of the modern country of Vietnam, and thus it is listed under it.
French Indochina, on the other hand, covered all of the modern countries of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, so it is listed on its own, as it would not fit under any of its constituent parts (not under France, just under F).
