Im sure this has been spoken of before, but does anyone know an easier way in opening these case's ?

I’ve seen people smack the sides of the case with a hammer.

Awesome tips, I saw the hammer video before but I was worried with my luck the coin would fly across the room under a table/furniture to never be found.
The ban saw was simple, cut off edges, take top off. no shattering.
The vice clamp is a good idea, but I still have that Murphy's Law factor. I swear Murphy likes me. lol.
