An entire series of silver plated (i.e., on nickel silver &/or copper/nickel), approximately 50 mm medals, appears to exist for the entire FIRST AMERICAN SPACE … series. These were distributed in the USA by Nebraska Numismatics (Inc., from 1960-72). However, these were likely engraved by Costantino Affer in Italy. The firm that minted the medals is variously referred to as A.E. Lorioli Fratelli, F.M. Lorioli & Castelli and/or Lorioli Medaglie of Milan, Italy.
