This folder is dedicated to the fishermen of Ostduinkerke, a Belgian village in Flanders, who catch shrimp with a trawl net pulled by strong working horses. This type of fishing dates back to the Middle Ages, and in 2013, horseback fishing was recognized as an Intangible Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
