I'm more student than collector. Numista is equivalent to Wikipedia. For example, a lot of people know the Chinese introduced paper money centuries before it came into use in Europe, What Numista showed me was that Chinese paper currency was a phenomenon that lasted about 150 years, then ceased for 250 years or more.
I've prepared a taxonomic chart of numismatics. I want a place to display it and discuss it. I've also done things like track the use of billon coins in Europe between 1501 and 1800, an analysis which shows clearly the presence of Spanish silver. I want a place to discuss that, too.
I know what I know, but navigating a website is something I know little about, except to know that it can be dangerous..
