Have a nice day and good health colleagues.

For us amateurs. Just a simple tool for those who do not know how to do it. The younger son could no longer watch what I was doing and bought me this tool.
My own product from an old lamp and a paper box + A4 paper glued- ( Now he will go to the museum or to the dump of history)

This is a simple gift made of plastic and led lighting to connect to a PC or Phone (there from the reducers to USB):

when shooting with a mobile phone, a mug is enough (stabilization).
The accessory is a replaceable colored background of plastic base paint.
LEDs are two strips, equipment cheap, simple and practical for us amateurs , who need to make a nice picture of a small object.

Just inspiration Ivan
good !
one photo please 0:)
pay attention to the background of the photo: a plain white background is preferable

Thanks!
I just ordered one as well, I really need something like this, hope it’s working good :)
I just have to wait 1-2 month, China is far :)
Is it possible to see how the photos turns out? 0:)

Have a nice day colleagues.

I had other responsibilities yesterday so I just showed up. Yes, I took the chamber from a canvas bag this morning, assembling the puzzle and connecting takes 1 minute. I took pictures with my primitive mobile phone,, Redmi 5 Plus -Xiaomi,,
I was trying to put a tablet in there ,,Samsung 10.1 inches ,, This is impractical and I would have to change the height of the cup.
I still have a stand and a camera, but when I have more time I will play with a digital macro camera.

My goal is rather to show things for me and other amateurs who just want better quality, Because we still meet here with a misunderstanding of the members.
They show coins and, first of all, it is not proper to issue what they photographed, hold the coin in his hand or place it on an ornamental tablecloth, believing that this will increase the price of the coin, it does not weigh the weight and measure the diameter, nor does it stand over the metal.
Therefore, even though it has been published here many times and of better quality -it is still necessary to show the possibilities. I glued the old photo chamber myself in 2 hours and only from hard paper and an old lamp -it can be glued everywhere and for free.

My attempts this morning , please just demonstrate again at no artistic speed and i noticed that i am made a mistake in shielding the next time i have to be careful. I used different metals and colored chamber inserts to demonstrate the effect of coin color.
No selection, everything just for a quick and easy photo shoot, and the coins are the first I pulled out of the box a pile of scrap metal.

Judge for yourself:and if there is any possibility of a question i will try to answer.

preparation of the puzzle 1 minute

However, I am not a perfectionist and rather only for an amateur.next time I'll focus so I don't have a shade of light on top of the coin
Ivan
Except for the shadow it looks really good. Congrats, mate!

I have a feeling that local internet retailers have it even cheaper than manufacturers.

And now seriously!
over the phone I made a camera for a demonstration -and now really coins and not tokens.
I put different metals and age coins and also the degree of wear. Again, no repetitions always on the first try and amateurish.
The first photo is taken through the top hole so that it does not shade - but it is far away

it is Rome - Gordian III. 241 AD Ag

others always on the cup by phone

Czech kingdom Denar of Wroclaw II (he is the first Czech king) year 1085-1092 Ag

I even carved it in a circle and I think the amateur peo is good.

Prague groschen - Wenceslas IV. 1378-1419 (Yes, now I'll have groschen of the whole bag) -Ag
China wishes it is the Northern Song of Xining year 1068-Emperor Song Shenzong

Greece Pegamon Nike -200Bc Cu

I tried to show the basic metals photographed on a white background, ordinary coins, with an ordinary mobile phone.

Your idea is very interesting
I put 'led portable photo studio' in the search engine which provided me with several models of several brands from 12 to 25 euros free shipping
My preference would be for those with 2 LEDs to be able to use either one or the other, or both, or the flash

Like I told you, take a smooth white background, with the finest grain you can find, like a business card, matte if possible, otherwise an erasable white school slate. Your backdrops are embossed.

The problem is always the shadow cast by the coin when you cut them out following the instructions of the team, you should read in the coffee grounds! Believe in my experience. ttps://en.numista.com/forum/topic92412.html

To remedy this, the coin must be moved away from its support. Not easy ! But there is a solution: prick three seamstress needles half a centimeter apart into the slate to support the coin. There are some with the plastic end that will not damage it. This will allow the light to pass under the room, barely leaving the shadow of the needles.

Excuse my language, I only speak French

Have a nice evening.

Thank you very much,, CREPOSUC,, for advice and comment. Yes, I understood that by changing the base to a matte, smooth surface.
You know, I used what was in the manufacturer's set - plastic grate of different colors.

I just misunderstood how to take pictures with needles?  ? You think the coin is half an inch above the base area ? one picture as if it were worth a thousand words, if you have time future.

I will definitely read the link.
You know, I put it here only because it annoys me when someone puts an expensive cell phone And he takes pictures of a gold coin with dirt behind his fingernails in hand against marble stairs and so on......

Thank you very much for the advice, but I'm just trying to increase the quality so that the coins I add have more relevance
,, Now I put the old Greek coin and I'm waiting for it to be added and I really tragically photographed it when I'm ashamed and I have to fix it and ask for the addition again,,

Very simple installation:
# - a sheet of photo printer paper placed on hard cardboard (a calendar)
# - 3 needles stuck in to support the coin far from the bottom (3 so that they are each a support, so that there is not one higher than the others)

photos taken from above, daylight lighting in my veranda (it's snowing outside) and without focus:

all that remains is to cut out (roughly): minimum image 300x300 px
A very dry drop of silicone on the pinhead prevents the coin from slipping.

Yes, and that's exactly how I understood it .Thank you for an illustrative example two more challenges await me in the future , What I need to learn namely to trim irregular coins, such as Russian wire.
So thanks to the weather, we have the same freezing snow and it makes quarantined people even more attractive that we have a hobby that will survive all the viruses.

Thank you

I don't have an irregular piece so I took what I found.
With a 10x15 cm sheet of photo paper on a wooden board

cut out and inserted into a closed LED BOX with the white sheet it would be even better

It's another shadow hunter who made me think that if he got too close to the wall he could kill himself

Hi and have a nice Sunday.

thanks for the sample.
Tomorrow they will bring me mysterious unknown coins (at least according to the seller)
So the baptism awaits me for sharp photography.

I will try to take photos of irregular coins like this on needles, I'm already making a base of cardboard and white paper.

Be healthy and enjoy life

Regards Ivan
