Hi i have a rotated die R5 nelson mandela coin minted in 2000.  This is how the obverse align with the reverse in pics attached

Hi WayD

Die rotation errors seem particularly common among the coins produced by the SA Mint. I have several, including a Swazi coin that is rotated a similar amount to your Madiba.

In my opinion, this doesn't add significant value to the coin. It isn't such a big error and it is quite common from this mint. To someone interested in error coins, it might be worth a small amount more than the regular version. Someone like me would actually want to pay less for it because of the unexciting error.

Andrew

Thanking you
