Hi

I have received 4 ancient silver coins amongst a large British collection.
If anyone could please identify them as I’m going to sell them on as I collect 17th to 19th century.

all are silver and weight is approximately 3.8g 18mm

The top left is a bit like this following one :

You might provide dedicated pictures for each coin to facilitate the search:

Here are all four coins individually pictured obverse reverse. 3 appear to have wheat to left of portrait.

Thank you for any and all responses.

Funny point : coins #3 and #4 look respectively antic-greec and roman-republic but they have the same reverse ! 🤣

I guess that the same die has been used for the obverse of coins #1 to #3.

I hope you didn't spend to much… otherwise you may not find this funny at all…

I fear these “things” are modern forgeries.

I agree.

I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.

That’s why they ended up in my ‘questionable ‘ tub. But unusually these are silver and not a base metal as you would expect

And a genuine Thaler from Goslar would have been an incredible nice find !

😂 yep. Had plenty of heart stoppers over the years.
