Joannes Pauluss II Medal ( Two Mints )

Hello everyone. can someone identify my Medal collection. I wonder why this has 2 (two) “ italy “ mintmarks one each fromt he obverse and the reverse. While there is only 1 (one) mentioned in the comment section. Could this be another variety or production? Thanking you all in advance.

Mine is the same as yours with Italy on it twice I just decided it was a variation and added it regardless if you look at the photo the one as the listing has no Italy on it, but the description says “can be” and shows it on the base of the bust.

Perhaps a third line should be added for those of us with Italy on them twice since one line has the wording mint mark under bust the next should say two mint marks?

Hello.. thats something nice. Youve got plenty of beautiful items. Too good that you were able to “add” them. Actually i submitted a MEDAL  & a BANKNOTE…it was acknowledged and confirmed and supposedly to be ADDED to in the catalog. i asked the officers to assist by doing the CR for me, purposely to make them perfect and presentable since im not literate on computers. They didnt reject my proposal however no actions and no updates where undertaken until now.

i made follow-ups thinking  that updates on the catalog  once published would benefit the community and served the catalog purposes.

theres nothing i can do but wait when they can made the actions they promised.

im sorry to share this but i just wished that they should address our discoveries the proper way whether they are not POPULAR variants. their significance and existence would be rendered useless.

I will gladly assist you in learning how to add an item to Numista. But it is easier for me to do so if you are adding something to my section. I am not sure if you have anything as far as a USA token or medal not on Numista but we can find one for you to add if you like. Hello My good Sir. Im so impressed that someone like you kindly offered me your time. Actually i have this “MEDAL” its from the USA…i submitted it already and was acknowledged too.  I told them honestly that though i can read english, still i got confused interpreting them somehow making the CR much difficult for me. so im holding on to their promise to make it to the catalog. 

Since you have mentioned about your section , then id like to share this to you.

its a “1904 MEDAL of HONOR GOVT. of PHIL. ISLAND for MERIT WORLD’S FAIR ST. LOUIS USA”. It belongs to my collections  along with the “JOANNES PAULUS II MEDAL “with (2) “ ITALY mintmarks on the rev. & obv.

And also the only article that supports the existence of the 1904 MEDAL of HONOR.

i am truly interested on making it recognized and published in the NUMISTA CATALOG.

ill be happy to share and support anything i could to this matter.
