Line over drumstick

The reverse of this coin has an anomaly - a line of extra material that is in parallel above the drumstick.  My research hasn't found mention of it, but I'm no pro.

Has anyone more expert seen this before?

I think it got scratched from friction during use or storage. Lother

It looks raised so from a die crack. Is it raised or recessed (scratch)?

Raised, as its light/dark sides are the same as the drumstick when lit from an angle. If it were recessed, I’d expect it to be opposite. 
 

So likely from a small die crack? Would it be worth having some entity certify it?

That was my opinion too.  You may get a couple of dollars for it but you'll never recoup the cost of having it graded.
