Please provide better focused and well-lit photos, if possible 😉

Yea, without a detailed photo, a tough area (especially for Westerners), but taking your word about Aurangabad, it's associated with Hyderbad or Arcot. You have to be able to read the the princely name of the Mughul ruler and the state. My rough estimate of the date, they are undated except by ruler, is ~ 1750 - 1800 or a bit beyond. Value can vary widely based on rarity and condition.

Have you posted in the wrong thread?

But nobody mentioned Aurangabad and we already established the coin is of Aurangzeb so l presumed you posted in wrong thread ?

Thanks for taking the trouble to straighten me out. I was using KM’s catalog for India, that was the closest word in the index. I’ll stay in my lane in the future.

not a problem, the actual coin featured makes no sense as there is no such mint as nurishitabad and the coin is not clear enough to read much detail. The person who posted the coin made no further effort to reply either

Vic

Hey sorry for late in a replying but i got the coin checked out an it is a coin of Aurangzeb . For its mint it is an uncommon Nusratabad mint it is a mint of karnataka India. Sorry I messed up with the spelling. I am a 15 year old collector and this was my first real post.

Better late than never, see if you can edit the mint name to the correct one using the symbol in the corner of your first post
