Hello everyone!

I have a few of these Manchukuo 1 yuan notes ( N#549672 ) which I need a little help evaluating.

I have found a few sold examples, but these are in higher grades than mine (mine are G to VG condition).

It seems that they are pretty scarce, I’ve only been able to find about four listings and as Banknotes aren’t my main focus I don’t know where to look.

Thanks!

Edit; forgot pictures.

Please note that I’m not experienced in grading notes, I just went off the pmg website guide.

Hello 🤖

Without pictures, it will be very difficult for anyone to help you. Could you please post clear pictures of each side of your item?

Please note that this is an automatic message. Feel free to ignore if it is not relevant.

VERY hard to find. I have been looking for one for 20+ years.

You are currently the only Numista owner.

My opinion of your photos is mostly G, some leaning towards VG.

Definitely not easy to come by unless you want to pay an arm and a leg.

Thanks @gyoschak, I lowered the grades by a step.

I did notice these are far and few between, are there any catalouges that detail the prices though? Not looking to sell, just want to know if I’m sitting on a gold mine or not :).

According to JNDA low grades which is a bit higher then most of yours go for about 30 bucks (but as it is rarely seen in the West probably a bit more).
