Scotland - counteratamp

I have come across this Scottish 4 shillings 6 pence coin, but when I looked it up, the coin it was stuck on is not listed. It is struck on an 1806 spanish 8 reals, but the oldest one on here only list this type of Scottish coin being struck on an 1811. Any insight or thoughts are appreciated.

I have searched and searched and can not find a match.

Definitely worth adding on here under ‘Scotland’.

The only thing that i have come across so far and it doesn't bring me any closer to finding a match, is this snippet from a website. But the example they use is dates 1819.

Thank you. I've looked at the page as well as the similar lots and saw there was an 1804 as well as an 1808. So is it safe enough to say that what I have is genuine?

Admittedly, this is not an area of Scottish numismatics that I'm overly familiar with. Unfortunately I don't have a copy of Manville's Tokens of the Industrial Revolution to hand, which is the best catalogue on the series. I do have access to a dedicated numismatic library in Glasgow. I shall check their copy when I'm next able (probably sometime within the next two weeks) to see if the host coin date is listed for this countermark.

A lot of these Scottish countermarks are known from just a few surviving examples, so it wouldn't be unusual for new host coin dates to come to light (and quite exciting).
