A question for Hungarian friends

Hi all,
I got recently a 2 Forint 1946 BP from Hungary, wich looks exactly like that one :

https://fr.numista.com/catalogue/pieces6914.html

BUT, this PROOF coin is NOT aluminum made, the metal is SILVER,
and the weight is around 10 grams.

Same diameter than the aluminum coin, but almost twice the thickness

The edge is reeded.

No additional mark on the coin.

I can't find any information about this coin, neither on World Coins Catalog, nor on the Web.

Is that a Pattern, a Piedfort coin, or a fantasy token ?

Sorry, no picture of my coin : my scanner is out of order...

Thanks for your help !

Just one modification about the description of the coin:

The thickness is 2mm, the same as the aluminum coin.

So, that's not a piedfort.
Hello,

Diameter 28 mm, thickness 2 mm, weight 10,86 grams, silver (999,9) reeded edge (144 pieces), designed by Lajos Berán (1946), circulation was not.

Made in 2001, quantity minted 2 000 pieces. Proof design, made with original tools.
In Hungary are a series which name is Master Pieces. This coin’s from that.
An UNC coin value is about 5000-10000 Ft (18,67-37,35 €), in Hungary.

I hope you understand because my English is poor.

Thank you very much for these informations, Archie !

I was astonished that coin was from 1946, because the coin looks brand-new,
polished mirror finish.
Now, I know that coin is from 2001, It looks more normal.

It seems to be no KM number for this coin.

Maybe it's referenced on Numismaster site, I'll take a look to verify.
