Very worn coin, possibly Mexican [résolu]

I am having no luck identifying this coin. The one side has seated Liberty facing left apparently originally holding a lance. The other side is a portrait of some noble, I assume, facing right. Any date or denomination has been worn off. Any ideas? Thanks for any help.
