Hello,
do you know the problem:You know, you have a coin from Indian States or German States. But which one?
If you know the domination and the year, you are lucky, but sometimes there are about 100 possible coins.
I think there are a lot of typical coins for a coin issuing system:
For axample:
Bavaria:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces18191.html
a lot of bavarian coins have the same oberverse

Hyderabad:
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces16632.html
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces15702.html

If a referee or someelse could be able to mark a coin as typical, it would be possible to check in a fast way, the coats of arms from a country and it would be helpful to identify your coin.

There was a suggestion of searching pictures. But I tried indian states coin with google.
And the result is extremly bad.

What do you think about my idea?
regards
Peter
So basically the Numisdoc version of that big bunch of pictures at the back of a Krause catalog?

I'm a bit unsure how much it would help with Indian states coins (many of those are just bits of copper with crude Arabic legends), but I frequently find myself with just this kind of problem for German states (a few times I literally resorted to googling for the Krause page).

Also would help for Austrian/Bohemian/Hungarian states, and I guess a similar system should work for some Arabic countries (Sudan, IIRC, had a lot of coins with that one camel).
That is a great idea for a detailed Numisdoc to be added by someone in the future.
