Hi,
I am new here and i am from india.This is my first post and i wanted to know whether this coin is real or fake,its non magnetic and its catalogue value is US$250 in VF condition.Also what would its grade be?

The coin above lacks overall sharpness, even in deep recesses which should not be affected by wear until the design is worn flat. For example, look at the lines below the cross on the king's chest. On the certified example below, they extend full and sharp to the rim. On the coin above, they disappear as they approach the rim. The jewels and pearls near the center of the crown are the high points of the design and should disappear long before detail in the recesses.

Bought this on ebay india couple of years back.​Total mintage is 54000 and 21000 of those were melted,so just surprised to find it on ebay india.

​Why would anyone buy a Morgan dollar from India (or China, for that matter)!!!???!! :°8)
