Post-1707 British Isles currency tokens - should be listed under their constituent country.

Who else, apart from me, is in favour of listing the British Isles currency tokens of the 18th. & 19th. Centuries under their constituent countries?

I think they should be listed under 'England', 'Scotland', & 'Wales' - then the listings should be divided by counties.

The 17th. Century currency tokens are listed under their constituent country - but the catalogues also divide their listing by counties.

What do you think?

Aidan, I've already explained to you that I have no locus with UK versus constituent country tokens, beyond when there are requests to move items out of the Medals catalogue to the Token catalogue. As such I don't think there's much more I can add.

The conventions on countries were probably established for the coin catalogue, and then applied to the Medal and Token catalogues as well.

Cheers

Here's an example listed under ‘England’;

@peterjhalford & @shivadescending , I think adding monarchs' reigns to the currency tokens' listings is also a great idea as well.
